Or, do you attend Elgin, South Elgin, Larkin, Harvest Christian,

St. Edward Catholic, or Central High School?

You may qualify to apply for one of these scholarships:

COMMUNITY SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP

To be considered: Current high school year graduate, Minimum grade point 2.5 or better,

Exemplary involvement in community service.

Required: Complete application with specific details about your community service

involvement and a 250-word essay explaining how Rotary’s Motto “Service Above Self” pertains to you.

Applications are due by: March 25, 2026 Summit by email or regular mail (see below)

VOCATIONAL & TECHNICAL SCHOLARSHIPS

1) Ralph Helm Memorial Scholarship

For those studying small engine repair, automotive or mechanical.

Limited to Associate Degree or equivalent certification program.

2) Rotary District Vocational & Tech Scholarship

To support students for careers that require an Associate Degree or

equivalent Certification program (less than a 4-year degree).

Applicants need to work thru your local Rotary Club.
